The Ceres Community Association (formed in 1988) is a registered not-for-profit community organisation. Its membership is open to all residents of Ceres and the Barrabool Hills. The CCA is an inclusive, representative and active voice of the whole community.
The CCA Committee meets formally and has been instrumental and proactive in many initiatives and actions, including social and community activities, planning and amenity issues, beautification and landscaping projects.
With over 25 years of active participation in the community, the CCA is well placed to develop a strategy that is considered and appropriate to the Temperance Hall and its environs, given its age, history and uniqueness in the township.
The CCA with respect for the built heritage and character of Ceres, through the management of the Temperance Hall, will best ensure its vitality, sense of identity and individuality within the framework of the CoGG.
